How to choose a place without a speed table
- Start from what you are doing. A call to family abroad, a hotel stay and a download have different needs.
- Run the same short clip or page twice, once per place, at the hour you normally use it.
- Keep the one that stalls less. If two feel the same, keep either and stop fiddling.
- Re-check after a few weeks, because busy hours and routes drift.
- If everything is worse than the plain connection, switch the tunnel off for that task.
Hotel and travel Wi-Fi
Hotel, airport and train networks are shared with strangers, and the owner can see which sites you ask for. A tunnel encrypts the road from your device to our server, so the network sees one encrypted stream instead of a list of pages. That is the real benefit of travelling with it. It does not make a weak hotel line strong, and some hotels block unknown tunnel traffic altogether, in which case another server or the phone's own data is the fallback.
Do the setup at home. The bot issues the link in about a minute, but a hotel page that wants a login before any traffic flows can get in the way of the first connection.
Using the link while abroad
Services follow their own licence maps. Whether a film, a match or a channel plays abroad is decided by the service and the rights holders, not by the tunnel, and this site does not promise access to catalogues or broadcasts. What you can watch abroad is set by each service and its rules; a tunnel does not change that. Check the service's terms before you travel.
Country rules vary, and they get revised. If a country limits VPN use, you answer for what you do there, so read the local position before you go instead of relying on a general page like this one.
Why this section also talks about addresses
Many travellers want to see what address a site reads from them. Open any address-lookup page with the tunnel off, note the country and town, connect, and look again. The town shown for a server is usually a data centre, and the lookup may be a little off for either address. The sub-pages of this section cover individual places such as the UK, Canada, Singapore, the UAE and the USA.
Sources behind this advice
Is this page neutral? Not entirely: the key is the product, so the checks above are ones you can run yourself instead of taking our word.
Assembling the page involved an AI model, and editors compared it with the real server list.
